Services

One of the most difficult things for parents and caregivers of children with disabilities to do is to understand the complexity of special education law and how it applies to a child with their unique needs. As every case is different, and every case doesn’t call for the same level of service, our office provides an array of different levels of service in order to best serve our clients’ needs.

Phone Consultations and File/Record Reviews: These are initial meetings are set up to hear the facts of your case, examine your documents and to determine how the law applies to your child’s unique needs. Based on the initial consultation/record review we will be able to offer advice at to what we believe are the next steps in handling your child’s case should be to obtain the resolution you desire.

In Person Representation: We can represent you in person at IEP meetings, Hearings (including disciplinary and Manifestation Determination Reviews), on behalf of you and your child.

Behind the Scenes Representation: Sometimes you don’t need full scale representation, and we are available to help develop an action plan, write letters to help communicate your positions to your public school, and helping you best prepare for meetings that you attend on your own.

Dispute Resolution – My experience with dispute resolution has taught me that a great deal of conflicts can and will be settled without litigation. However, there are times when the best of efforts fail and further action must be taken. We are able to file state complaints, Due Process complaints and see them through to conclusion on behalf of your child.
